Is Obama a Good President?

The first African American President has caused a tidal wave of commentary on the internet from heart felt support to the rattling of swords. One thing is true no one knows how well Obama will do in the next four years. It is as likely that he brings down the Republic as it is that he saves the Republic. Time will only tell.

However, it is in the best interest of all Americans to be watchful on a daily basis that concentration camps are not somehow finding their way into our neighborhoods, or that voices are not being silenced because they are different. I am sure these terrible things won't happen, but it is always important to be vigilant.

President Obama, in all respects, has 6 months to show his stuff. If he is stymied during this time his presidency will likely be seen as a failure. I say this only because of how he came onto the scene. He came as a savior of our woes and he welcomed and campaigned on much of the same hope. This is why the success of his administration hinges on his first 6 months. This is why you will see him running faster than any previous president. His desire to change the national culture may spell his downfall. It is likely that he didn't count on how patriotic and protective the American people are toward their nation, constitution, and historical foundations. Trying to turn the ship of providence will be almost impossible without the show of armed force. We will all have to wait and see what happens.
